PUBLISHING AND BROADCASTING

Following the conference, presented papers will be considered for publication in the conference’s Proceeding and Abstract Book (with e-ISBN). Select rxtended and revised versions of conference papers will be published in the Israiliyat journal or in a nationally or internationally edited book. Publication decisions will be made in the light me of a standard blind-peer review process, in the context of which the manuscripts will be evaluated by standard academic criteria of scholarly research.

ICIJS's presentations will be live streamed and recorded without prior written permission, and then uploaded to the ICIJS’24 playlist on the ICIJS YouTube channel.

Proceeding and Abstract Book

The volume, Proceeding and Abstract Book …., contains a collection of full texts and abstracts submitted to the Conference. The full texts and abstracts are compiled by participant name in a different part so that all papers could be a part of same volume. Information about the conference is given in English and Turkish according to the subtitles.

Although all abstracts must be submitted before the conference, full texts could be submitted before or after the conference. In addition, the studies of some of our authors will be published as research articles in our journal after the referee process.

The following tips are helpful for effectively using a single pdf file: Use the "Bookmarks" icon (also known as Document outline for Google Chrome) in the navigation panel of Acrobat Reader on top right side bar or Table of Contents with clickable links of the word processor in the pdf file to jump between full texts and abstracts or add #page=[page number] to the end of the link's URL, to target an HTML link to a specific page, for example, <http://icijs23.book.israiliyat.com>#page=5>.

All sessions will be recorded to Meet Recordings in Google Drive and then uploaded to the Journal YouTube Channel. Conference attendance confers permission to record.

Your uploaded session video is published, available to those that have the link (Unlisted) on the Israiliyat TV YouTube channel (Not “Public” or “Private”) – this means URL link of your session cannot be shared, your session video will not be added to a channel section, showed up in search, related videos, and recommendations, posted on our channel, and cannot be commented on.

It is planning to embed the URL link of your session in conference webpage – this means your session video will be showed up in search. Only those who have the unlisted video URL link or visit our conference web page can watch and embed the video into their website.

In uploaded session videos on Youtube, chapters may be added in the progress bar for each presentation. Speakers, if they wish, also have the right to share by linking to their part or to download relevant parts of their videos with various applications (such as <ytcutter.com>) for using personal purpose. We are not responsible in case participants share or embed the links of the session videos.

URL links of all sessions will be shared with all conference participants and committees members.

If you do not want the URL link of your session video to be embedded on the conference webpage, please send your request by email with other participants in the sessions. In this case, URL link of your session will not be embedded on the conference web page. Don’t forget, since each session is uploaded as a single video, other speakers in this session will also be affected from this link removal request.

As a specific situation, if you do not want to allow your presentation to be uploaded on YouTube due to the reasons such as making mistakes or sharing sensitive data, etc., please send your request by e-mail. In this case, the part where the speaker's presentation is recorded will be removed and the session video will be streamed by the approval of organizing committee.

While compartmentalizing, only the moment the speakers started to speak can be taken into account. Also, separate division for the speeches of the chairman or the sections with questions and answers can be done.

In screen layout of recordings the active speaker or shared screen fills the entire window (Spotlight layout). It is currently not possible to record speakers and participants in tiled and sidebar layout.

The unlisted video recordings of the presentations can be watched on the Conference's YouTube channel <tv.israiliyat.com>. Videos can shared by clicking the share  below the videos automatically, or with the start time (timestamp) appending to the end of the url address of video (short YouTube link: “?t=#h#m#s”, regular YouTube link: “&t=#h#m#s”).
